AKA The Enclosure Of The Boss AKA Saqqara Astroport
It is considered the oldest monumental stone construction in Ancient Egypt. This is the biggest structure in Saqqara 650X350m, with walls of 15m wide at their base. The apparent lack of a central structure within the enclosure is bizarre and the purpose of the Gisr El Mudir is still unknown.
Parallels between Puma Pumku in Bolivia and Gisr El Mudir are often made for their apparent delibarate destruction. Theorists dates the structure back to the war of the gods in pre-dynastic times.
However, there is not much to see on the ground, try google earth instead.
